Apparently not. It was a test. A prototype. They never made too many.

There are pictures online. Not sure why they didn't go with it officially, but complete rifles were made. Some examples (rare) are in the US. They just got mixed in with the rest of the batch being imported.

Scored one in Halifax N.S. at the ARMY NAVY SURPLUS for $250.00 in December. It was unfired and had the cleaning kit in the butt full of cosmo. Also scored 8mm Mauser for $27.00 a box and they had a good supply. 9MM at $14.00 a box too!
