I just purchased my first Colt revolver from a forum member, it's a 1954 Officers Model match .38 special. I'm now looking to add a few more Colts to my collection, I would like to purchase an early 50's Colt 3 5 7 and a .22 LR Officers Model Match is similar condition as the one I have. Although I like shooting my Glock 17 it sure is nice to hold a quality built revolver made with blued steel and checkered walnut grips.

Yes, these wonderful older Colts have my attention too.

There is a very good & old picture of Skeeter Skelton astride a horse in Texas(?)
He is brandishing what is most likely a then brand new, six inch barrelled Colt Model 357. He is pointing it skyward in a seemingly relaxed position.

Cheers.........

Very nice!

And the the good thing about the vintage Colt wheelguns & collecting them is they don't tend to want to break the bank accumulating them like the same age 1911/1911A1's seem do.
