Hi everyone. Been lurking for a while and thought it was time to register and join the community. Here are a few pics of my new CZ-453 Varmint Premium 22LR. I should have my scope in on monday Leupold VX-2 3-9x33 Rimfire EFR CDS. For rings I have a set of medium Talley's and a set of medium Burris Signature Zee with J&P rail adapters. Try them both and see which one's I like better. Sorry for the crummy pictures. It's been overcast here for a few days. Had to take the shots indoors.

Magnificent! Where did you source one? I would love to get one.

Thanks everyone. I bought it brand new at Perry's Gun Shop here in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. They don't have anymore, and it might be hard to find another one, rare. Canada received a few and places in the UK, Australia I seen a couple. The U.S. didn't get any. It is an 09, and has been sitting there for a while. I can't believe someone didn't buy it sooner. They wanted $760 and I bought it for $700 becuase of a couple small nicks. This gun was selling for more money than I paid when it come out. Taking the bolt out someone hit the top of the woodstock befind the bolt. I did notice you have to wiggle around the bolt a bit to get it out while pressing the trigger.

You bought a rifle that will last you and yours a lifetime.
Beautiful all round does not adequately destribe this rifle.
Will wait to see the groups.
Clean the bore before shooting. My 452V showed a lot of "brown" before coming clean.

I used up a lot of patch's cleaning it, and even used non-chlorinated brake cleaner. I wasn't getting a lot of brown dirty patch's off this one. Probably wasn't over packed like some of them. The 453 was sitting at the gun shop for 2-3 years. It was coming out a little at a time, but took a lot of patch's. Right when you think its clean you get a little more brown coming out. I was getting the bluing out too, and on the rod I wiped down each pass. Here is a picture of the factory test target. They say not to assume anything until you test it yourself.
