My new Deuce 2.0

Rar: Yes I have shot the rifle 3 or 4 times. It runs real fine and the action is extremely smooth and solid. Concerning accuracy and precision, so far my tests were all done in winter conditions and round count is still quite low but it is doing good. I have done great groups but consistency has not been reached yet. Still in the process of ammo testing.
As for mags: I bought several L3i from GoBig and they fit perfect. They have the adjustable latch. They are not the Stingers, just the standard L3i.
Thanks
Gilbert

Hi,
I know IBI are working on a single shot adapter. If so, why not. The action is very slick and smooth and bolt throw is short.

Adamg: Wheel not installed yet.
Mike112288: I had a few Vudoos in the past. While fantastic actions, I personally prefer the Deuce 2.0. To me it is better built, tolerances are tighter, smooth as butter and, the bolt feels more solid ( especially the beefy extractors/ejectors and the cocking piece ).

I have the new Deuce 2.0 and the polymer L3I mags work great but not the stingers. IBI also sell them. Anyone what to get rid of some SK Long Range Match? Give me a shout.

I have a D2.0 as well. having some feeding issues with the L3i mags. Need to shave off a bit of the top lips on the mags to feel well. I also ordered the new aluminum 15 round NDR mags

Eugene: I am surprised you have feeding problems with the L3i polymer mags. They are adjustable so they are designed to work with pretty much any stock- chassis. Have you tried adjusting the latch on the back of the magazine ?
Thanks
Gilbert

yes, I adjusted the latch at the back.
My issue has to do with timing of when the round is released from the mag into the bolt. happens roughly once in 5-10 rounds. I know how to fix the issue, I just need to get to the range to test out.

Hi all,
I posted this on RFC some time ago but I forgot to post it here, so here I go:
I recently bought a new Deuce 2.0 barrelled action and put in a Manners PRS stock. Topped it with the new March PRS scope.
Those who know me will be a bit surprised as I mainly ventured in BR in the past but I have a close shooting buddy who has begun PRS rimfire competitions some time ago and now swears by it so I will see if I like it. Though, i will surely keep an interest in BR.
This winter I have tried this new Deuce 2.0 only a bit to get a feel of the action and ergonomics of the stock I have choosen. SO far, I am impressed. Today was the first day I did serious ammo testing both at 50 and 100 yards. I tried one lot of center X, one lot of Midas and one lot of Xact. The cheaper center X did better at both distances. I will be doing more tests in the forthcoming weeks and should publish targets.
Best regards to all.
Gilbert
You do have good taste, Gilbert! Beautiful package. Yes, keep us posted on results; I’m sure they will bring smiles to your face. I do like that MPA stock. Had one a while back and it was great on the Vudoo.
