Here's a pic of my new Fausti Style ST in 28 gauge.
The gun weighs right in at 5.5lbs., swings like aa dream and hits anything I point it at I think I'll keep it!:dancingbanana:

That's a beauty "Cat". Does it have a recoil pad or did you have the lop increased?

I can't wait for someone to suggest you cut down the barrels because it makes for a better handling gun in the field.

An okay 28 gauge, cat.Just remember to cut the barrels shorter, paint the barrels flat black, paint the wood a camo colour and have a peep sight installed. It should be just about prefect after that.

I case anyone is guessing I am just kidding.Beautiful 28 gauge SXS ,cat.

BEDLINER??!! Heck NO!! MAYBE green cammo paint, but let's get real guys, bedliner is for marlin levers!!:D
Win64, the butt plate is made of wood and checkered, and is attached by screws that are also checkered.
odbadger's Ugartechea stock also has a checkered butt, but is not added, the butt stock itself is checkered.
I cannot decide which I like better!:p

A far as cutting the barels down, if they get any shorter I won't be able to stop the swing - maybe replace the gold bead with one of those fancy day-glo ribs that are about 2" long?:D
oh yeah, fporgot to mention, the rib is cross hatched and case hardened - a nice touch!

Something's wrong with those images - they're all out of focus!?!

 Never mind, it's just the drool all over my screen. Nice gun, Cat. How you gonna make it to September 15th (Ft. McMurray area ravens beware)?

Nice gun for sure, congratulations!

I am interested in the acquisition process - how did you come to select the Fausti? Did you order the gun or find it on the shelf? If ordered, how long did it take? Did you compare it to other available models such as the Ugartechea 40NEX in 28 gauge? Were stock dimensions an issue? Was the single trigger something you were specifically after, or was it a matter of what was available? What other factors led to the selection of the Fausti? Nosey people want to know!

Seriously, a brief description of how you came to select and acquire this fine piece of work would be appreciated, and may be helpful to others contemplating similar purchases.

I ended up ordering the Fausti through Will Blozir http://www.bilozir.net/
after having some conversations with him about aquiring another SXS.
I was looking at several different italian guns, but none worked out for various reasons.
I like the gun very much, but Oldbadger has a Ugartechea and we are going to do a head to head to compare the two.

As far as how I selected this particular shotgun, I really wanted another SXS, the main criteria being Italian, and the others I looked at did not appeal to me as far as th work or options wity the price involved.
I have bought nemerous guns from Will and trust his judgement and reccommendations , BTW.
Ordering the LOP and drop I needed was not an issue, BTW.
