My new(ish) toy. Pictures inside.

I can't really call it 'new' as I've had the rifle for a year or so now but here are the first pictures I've taken of it so I figured I'd share. I picked up the Manner's as a post-tour gift to myself.

It's a Tikka T3 Stainless Varmint in 6.5x55 with EGW 20MOA rail and Falcon Optics 5.5-25x50 FFP Milrad adjustments.

If I am not mistaken that is Robertson stock. What a beauty

It's a Manners Composite. I picked up a similar stock for my Sako Quad to build a cheap trainer that is more or less exactly the same as the Tikka.

I haven't had much time behind it yet to tell you the truth. I've noticed that the clicks aren't very audible and you can't feel them very much, so I really had to concentrate on what I was doing when I was dialing in.

Nice rig and stock. I like the shape of the Manners stocks! I have 4 of the (sold them lately) of the Falcon scopes and enjoyed them immensely. I found the knobs nice and large and particularly liked how the 3mm allen head screw held the knob down.

What impressed me the most was how the large 56mm objective of the Falcon Menace 4.5 x 18 x 56mm gave such a clear picture of the exploding groundhogs! I was spoiled! I will never forget that! I hope you will experience such clarity!

Where in Canada can one buy a Manners T3 stock?

I'm hoping that I can go get some yotes at some point this winter. I have some 85gr Sierra JHPs that should work nicely

So far, alright. I was getting roughly 1 MOA today with the 85gr Sierra JHPs but that's with no load development so I'm confident I can shrink that down.

The only challenge is finding 6.5mm Berger's locally. I haven't really decided on a particular bullet for this rifle yet so I don't think ordering small quantities of bullets online makes sense at this point.

Is that a molded in o.d. green colour on the stock???
Did you get full pillar bed or 9/16" pillars?

I haven't had much time behind the trigger on this one, but I doubt it makes much of a difference because I can't shoot that well to notice anyways.

owning a 260 and a 6.5x55 i would say go with sierra 123 matchking bc is pretty good
