My new lower needs a friend...

Just finished building up my lower from parts and I think I am ready to get an upper for it. I am looking for something 14.5" or shorter that is top quality. I hear that barrel lengths shorter then 16" are getting harder and harder to obtain?? Where is the best place to find one?

I'd try Armseast, they list 14.5 on their site under CMMG barrels.
Or even better sell me the lower I'll deal with it myself...

There's a tan CTR on the EE right now. Guy selling it is asking a fair bit though.

Nice gun, I am going to go the same route eventually. Although its a Eagle Arms and a M4 6 position to start with but I needed the receiver tube for a CTR. Anyways I have my MIAD otw and it will be here tommorow and going to install it then I just need to get the upper.

I myself want a 16 or shorter upper, but I am leaning towards a midlength 16" with a 9" rail. That should be pretty.

I sure hope not... Those 10.5" would get my vote.

I was wondering about that too. That only applied to LMT uppers. RRA didn't have the same restrictions.

rifle uppers under 16inches are for military and LEO end users only. the RRA upper you saw were US "pistol" uppers. thats why you didn't see any 14.5, too heavy to be a pistol.

i think the US is denying export permits for these now as well. not sure though.
