My new LTR

After reading all the posts about the Rem 700 LTR I knew it was just a matter of time before I had to go and get myself one. So here she is. I know it looks like many others but this one is mine and I can't wait until I get a chance to put some rounds through it. It is a .308 with TPS rings and base and a Falcon Menace on top.

I'll likely start out with some inexpensive factory fodder to get it on paper
and then I plan on eventually reloading for it, so I'll have to back thru the posts and see what has been written for a good starting load.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good sling to compliment my new rig?

My buddy has the LTR in .223....sweet rifles for sure.

If you really want to spruce that up someone is selling a McMillan M40 stock and bottom metal for a Rem 700 SA in the E/E.

Price is reasonable, would make a hell of a combo!

AB Boy - is that a Harris Bipod, and which did you buy? 6-9" or 9-13" ?

Nice looking setup... I bought the poor mans setup on the other post.

What kind of bipod is that on it?

It's a harris bi-pod. I believe its a 6"-9". I have had it for a long time and wasn't regularly using it, but I think it has found a new home on my LTR.
