I bought a Franken gun before Christmas. It is a Remington Model 11 with Auto 5 barrel, and wood. It`s a pleasure to shoot trap with. I have tied my personal best (24/25) with it. My problem is that it will not always eject the spent hulls. Some times it does. Sometimes it doesn`t. A little effort and I can get it to eject, but it sometimes takes a few tries. It makes true pairs in sporting clays a little tough.
Question is ; Are there any ideas, short of replacing the ejector claw? I have only tried a few boxes of kent and challenger ammo so far.I don`t want to have to buy Double A`s, but I would like to shoot some sporting clays with it and win.
Thanks

Check the setting of the friction rings first. If it's already on the non-magnum setting, a little oil on the magazine tube may be all it needs to cycle fully.

Also you might want to be aware that most internal parts right down to the safety and detent ball will work between the two shot-guns,but the Model 11 uses a flat recoil spring . And the Browning a round one(or visa versa)but the forarm wood would not be interchangable between the two ,with out some sanding ! This may be your problem !

Just some thing to ponder if nothing else works. Bob
