My new rifle

So the wife bought me a rifle at christmas, but I have pics and the first range report.

Ruger M77 (Tang safety) action and wood stock 26 inch Stainless barrel by Kolbe. Makes barrels for Border Barrels in Scotland now.
Chambered in .338 WM
Bushnell 3200 3-9X
Harris Bipod

My buddy has been working on test loads for the 225gr Interbonds. Here is what I have for my best group so far. Not sure of the powder or how much. 3shot group. 100yrds I hope that 3rd shot was just me

even if it is the rifle, that looks to be a .75" 3 shot group, very good for a 338! good shooting

Every time I buy a new gun the wife always asks me 'how does it shoot"?
She does not go to the range with me or hunt but also never discourages me from hunting or shooting.
And when the time comes to help skin it out she is right in there and after she helps grind up the game. After the work is done she will make a nice stuffed and roasted deer heart for our hard work. So I'm glad there is more wives out there that will buy guns for their man.You are lucky and she definitely sounds like a keeper. Happy huntin' and good shootin'.....

Great groups for a 338, my wife has never bought me a gun(although I spend her money on them with remarkable regularity).
