This is my new ruger 10/22 with the Evolution stock. So far i have on it YHM front and rear sights, flash hider, stock saddle, tuffer buffer, home made extended magazine release. I'm really happy with the sights. It's far from finished, but so far it's going good.

That is one fancy fishing rod!

Just messin' with ya.
But it needs a shorter or heavier barrel something bad
And move the rear BUIS up a notch or two..it's too far back

oh,and why is the stock screw sticking out?

A shorter barrel sure would be nice, i didn't like the look at first but its growing on me, I just may have to buy a shorter barrel, and that screw is my mag release

What did you do?
drill into the stock release?

Yes, i drilled a hole, than threaded it, screwd in a screw, and painted it, all that within 1 hour of bringing it home. I haven't fired it yet, i bought it at the end of march and i got my sights in yesterday, im going to the range on saturday to test it out.

That Magazine holds 25 rounds, there is no limit for rimfire
And looking at the length it's indisputably non-restricted

the reason I asked if it was now a restricted is a rifle has to maintain it's length of at least 26", is it not? the stock looks like it's removable, which would probably make it less then 26" and having the pistol grip, would allow it to be very effective still.

?

Yes the buttstock can be removed. using tools. still non restricted.

I got it from fabsports.ca, the stock with the six position buttstock, 3 extra rails plus taxes and shipping was a bit over $400. The sights and buttstock battery holder are from target sports.

Look how long that barrel is, not a question as to it being over 26" OAL
