My new ruger 10/22 with the EVO stock

with all the modifications, has it changed from non-restricted to restricted? and how many rounds does that clip hold?

the reason I asked if it was now a restricted is a rifle has to maintain it's length of at least 26", is it not? the stock looks like it's removable, which would probably make it less then 26" and having the pistol grip, would allow it to be very effective still.
Not so friendly questions and comments. Hmm...

Here's a close up of the mag release, it took less than an hour to do.
I like that extension :)
It screams "Liberia" but it's cool.

Is that the new plastic trigger group?
How do you like it?

The trigger group is metal, the paint on it is crap, its peeling in some places on the receiver. Other than that I like it, its great.

As long as he doesn't remove the stock, it is non-restricted. As long as its telescoped, folded or otherwise reduced length with it attached is still longer than 26", its non-restricted.

Went to the range today to test out the gun, and it works flawlessly, apart from the muzzle brake coming loose, but that can be fixed with some locktite on the screw. The sights are excelent, extreamly accurate, didn't even have to adjust them. First target is at 50 m, the second one is at 100 m.

I had a chance to shoot this rifle at the range yesterday and I must say I think I have to go buy a Ruger 10/22 now. The mods are awsome and made the gun suprizingly balanced. The custom mag release worked well once I was shown how to use it. It is very functional.

Thanks P12 for letting me shoot that fun little gun.

Cheers
