Well I bit the bullet and bought some new toys w:h:

From top to bottom are the Robinson Arms XCR in 7.62 x 39, the JR Carbine in .40 s & w, and the CZ 858 Tac 7.62 x 39

The scopes are kind of temporary because I'll be shopping for something better and more streamlined.

By the way guys at Wanstalls..I can remember shopping there 30 years ago as a boy getting fly's and fishing rods with my saved up $ so I could bike down to the Allouette River after school for Cutthroat and the odd Steelhead :) back when the store was E & D sports/Wanstalls..I'm really glad you guys bought it and are keeping it down to earth and ran with old school rules and values..treat the customer well, offer helpful advice and we'll keep coming back to you guys honorably!

I imagine there is a whack of guys on this forum that have one or more of these guns I bought. If so and you feel like offering me any advice or guidance with additions or changes I can make to the guns to make them better please go ahead and help me out! Thank you!

I can't wait to get out to the bush with my buddies to test these bad boys out! :ar15: What better way to spend a sunny day than blowing things up with good friends in the great outdoors R:d:
 
Excellent choices. I have 2 of them. I have the XCR and the VZ. They are quite fun and accurate. I'm considering the third as I write this.

Jealous! How do you like the XCR? Maybe it's me, but whenever I see one I get the impression the might be a little heavier.. Looking into my first black rifle and have been giving the XCR a little thought.

My XCR is remarkably light, until you put all your tactical craziness on it. The only thing that I find heavy is the heavy barrel on it. I guess Wolverine is bringing in light barrels. You won't be disappointed with your purchase.
 
Hey guys thanks for all of your posts! I ain't no lottery winner lol :p Made some good business decisions at the right times :)
And I'm a toy junkie so this is going to be a really costly hobby for me f:P:2:

I wish I could give a range report but due to bad weather and timing I haven't been able to blast them yet :(
Hopefully if the weather stays good then maybe tomorrow or Tuesday might be the day!

As for the xcr being heavy. I think it is heavier than the other two but I don't think it will be a problem. I'll know more after shooting it for a few hours :D

Gotta question for you guys. If you could pick your favorite thing to blow up with your rifles what would it be?
A guy recently suggested pumpkins filled with koolaid G: That sounds sweet to me! Any suggestions?
