Just received my new Winchester Super Grade in 270 WSM from Ellwood Epps. Just finished installing a Sightron SII Big Sky 4x16x42 HHR with target knob on Talley mounts that I purchased from Prophet River.
I cant wait to try it this weekend. I'm really happy with the fit and finish on these new Winchester. Hope it shoots as good as the Featherweight I got last year.

Now that is a true beauty! I have a Model 70 XTR Sporter in 30.06 that I bought new in '85 in Alberta and I'll never part with it. That gun of yours is a knockout. I hope you keep it forever.

Just held one of these bad boys today in Cabelas and im torn between this and a browning x-bolt hunter, the m70 fwt and tikka t3 hunter. Let me know how this and the featherweight shoot! Beautiful gun btw!

Thanks guys.
Another fella with excellent taste in rifles. Very nice lumber on that one. I have three of the new M-70's.
That's the problem with the wood on these Super Grade, once you set your eyes on one and handle it, you want to keep it.

She's a keeper for sure. I have trouble getting rid of wood stock rifles.
Thats some fine looking iron you have there.
Keep us posted on how she shoots.

All good choice IMO, pick the one that fits you best. Good Luck.
