So after 9 months of waiting I finally have my Tikka T3 tac.
I originaly went for a .300winmag, but it was so far back ordered I switched up for a .308 that was in stock.
I dropped my Canadian leupold 3X9X40 on top. then attached a versa pod to the front.
My first day out to the range last week was a little less then stellar. The scope was slowly shifting in the rings so although the groups were tight, the zero was wondering. Fixed it this week by remounting the scope with a drop of red locktite on the bottom of each ring.
The results were much better today. I worked my way out to 300m and ended up with this
I'm still working off a .300 winmag dail so it took a bit of trail and error to adjust on. that issue should be fixed this week as a new dail is inbound for the 150 grain remington .308 I am shooting.
Over all I am damn inpressed with this gun. at 100m I can put rounds on top of each other and at 300m my 2 round groups were less then 1 inch.
Just need to work on my trigger pull, as you can see with the 4+4 (400 on the site dail + 4 clicks) I was pulling right and that winger... well the picture caption says it best.
