Nice bluing and everything functions very well (without firing). Really looks hardly used. I will have to check it out at the range. Got another 2 mags as well (3 total)... Hopefully my first 22 is a good one.

Very good choice, one of my favourites. Very simple to take down. You only need to loosen the bolt on the side of the receiver to take it down. Find yourself a copy of a cz 511 manaual, same take down process. Don't dry fire, it will peen the chamber rim, can be fussy with some ammo, any feeding problems usaully have to do with the magazine lips. If you get a lot of light strikes (ftf) you'll probably need to change the hammer spring. If you want more info, shoot me a pm, I'll be glad help.

Wow, a lot more info for the CZ 511... downloaded a manual today. Thanks a lot Ross B. Now, they look exactly the same, but for some reason the CZ is classified as different and better by some on this (and other) boards. Anything back this up?

I'm wondering here...are most BRNO's worth considering for purchase over the available CZ model's? just curious as I've seen BRNO's revered and I've seen a place that has several different one's (used) available for sale in the $350 range.

BRNO semi auto

I had heard great things about BRNO 22 semi's and recently found a 511 in nice shape, so I bought it. Hasn't arrived to my door just yet, but it will get a good gopher workout when it gets here. FS

Just tore down my 581 for cleaning... took about 30 seconds and it was down to its individual parts (except for trigger assembly is one piece). This is very well engineered. Just needed a dime to get things started then it was all by hand. Beautiful piece.
