Just finished building this up. All parts are Rock River except barrel (wilson) and stock. But this is it I hope she shoots. I haven't made up my mind yet on what glass. This is a Rock River upper with free floated aluminum hadguard. 18" heavy stainless Wilson bull barrel with 1:8 twist. It is on top of a Rock River Stripped Lar15 Pistol Lower (Yes this Rifle is officially registered as a pistol) with a Rock River lower parts kit installed. I don't know I might be missing something.

I'll take an assist on this one!

Nice "toy"! I too built a rifle with a RRA "pistol only" stripped lower. The markings don't matter, but I registered mine as a rifle.

For glass, it depends on your budget. Guys here seem fond of Nightforce. (I asked around some time ago) Leupold came close second. On the high end there's USO and S&B, but you'll have to make your wallet bleed...

where would I find a Nightforce??

Your floor is dirty. You could use a broom here. :p

However, it's a damn fine piece you got there.

That pistol lower makes me think of a question:

If the lower constitutes the "gun" on the papers, do the transfer of a LAR (pistol) lower take less time to get transfered by CFC than a whole AR15 (or a AR15 lower)? Do uppers need to be transfered throught CFC?

What I'm thinking of is to get a LAR lower and buying parts to get a rifle.

My Bushmaster is taking to long to transfer :(
Doing what I stated above would (if I'm right) accelerate AR 15 acquisition.

No pretention of being a genius here, I'm sure someone already thought about that.
