I just picked this up from The Shooting Edge in Calgary the other day. I can't wait to get home and mount this on my XCR. Until then I will continue learning to range find with the reticle from my hotel window...

you will like it. i have one on my AR. depends on light, you can turn off red reticle in day as well. i had a gray cloudy day of
shooting, and just turned it off at 100 and 200m. its very easy to zero too.

Nice purchase ianfroese!

Is there any chance you would post a picture of the windage/elevation knobs with the caps off?
I'm on the fence between this one and the open turret model.

Enjoy!

I finally got home and was able to mount my Vortex to my XCR. I am hoping to get a range test in sometime this weekend or next week, and get it zero'd. Mauser, I took a picture for you of the wind/elev knobs with the caps off. As mine is going to be a tractor/truck/hunting gun, I figured it would be best to have capped adjustment knobs (and that's all TSE had ha). I hope this helps. So far it looks like a sweet scope. It has very clear glass and a crisp reticle. I am really looking forward to doing some shooting with it!
