I foolishly forgot to take some before pics, but basically the barrel had been cut down and the stock sporterized as well. I already had a stock sitting at home and a barrel was obtained from another member here. Proper "IDF", unissued bands and a handguard were purchased to complete the rifle.
I just got it back today from a local gunsmith who indexed and headspaced the barrel. I grabbed a few stripper clips worth of IVI 79 marked surplus ammo and headed to the range. The target shows the last four rounds I had left after zeroing, and is about the average size groups I obtained at 100yds.
