My Norinco 1911 Project

Hey guys just got my slide back from getting some new sights installed and finally after 2 months I was able to put everything back together so I figured I'd post some pics.

I have done alot of minor polishing and such to the trigger group, and just recently installed a new trigger myself.

Thanks to JohnnyMac for the trigger.

I also replaced the Mainspring Housing with this flat one from an STI, and also the grips from the same gun. I will be getting some custom grips soon but got a killer deal on the grips, MSH, and a new mag release from another member here, who's name escapes me.

I am still looking for a stainless ambi safety and a stainless slide release if anyone has something cheap kickin around.

I have caught the 1911 bug and can't stop now.

Don't take my comments personally but I would loose the extended slide stop and get different sights - they just to fit the rest of the gun.

Some low profile or nice bomar style if you want adjustable.

Otherwise nice 1911-A1

I agree I am looking to replace the extended controls like I said in my post. I am not gonna be replacing the sights I just got these and like them alot. I got the sights and the install for $70 bucks so I'm not complaining.
