Sorry, no bench test or anything like that. Just a quick "look what I have" photo of my FN FS2000 that is now non restricted! Took a quick pic this AM after I ran a couple of Beowolf mags through her for a function test after getting her back from Ian. Look forward to doing some serious bench work, and testing on coyotes!

Good choice on the stock FH retention. :) Looks much better than an aftermarket AR one.

PS I have an extra set of Urban ERT Sling adapters for the FS if you're interested!

Is yours a CQB, or were you fortunate enough to get the standard forend as well? Handles and feels MUCH better than rail/VFG in my opinion...

On my conversion it was about $850. Paperwork is nothing - he does it all. Ian's work is TOP notch... I've owned TWO of Ian's conversions (FS and ACR) and both are perfect in every way.

Zero failures, 100% reliability....

Good Golly Miss Molly THAT'S NICE!!!

Way to stick it to the man by making them non-restricted! Nice Job!

Cheers

Cost about $850ish. As mentioned, Ian does the paperwork for you so you just have to wait till you get the letter from the CFC saying they have de-registered it.

I got mine as a standard rifle, and then ordered the tri-rail and vert grip later. I don't mind it with the standard forend, but i do prefer the tri-rail and vert grip.

I had originally just told Ian to thread the barrel, with the intent of putting an AAC blackout on it however I don't mind the factory FH back on it either. Gives it more of a factory look.

Good looking rifle man, a little jealous honestly. Is it barrel length that makes these restricted or is it just because they're scary?

Yes, it's the barrel length that results in its restricted classification--16.7" I think? The only restricted rifles are either ARs or semi-autos with barrels shorter than 18.5". Everything else is non-restricted or prohibited.
