June 18 - Received by RCMP

July 10 - Processed Payment

I am assuming that I will have a longer wait because I have applied for my non-restriced and restriced licences at the same time?!?

July 13th - Just spoke to RCMP officer... hopefully the call my references soon!

July 13 - First reference called.... just need to wait for the second to be called....

Don't get worried yet. It will likely by the end of July before you see your licence. Five to six weeks is normal for a licence to be issued.

Looks like its going the usual amount of time. When I checked my status before and it said 'Your application has completed initial processing' I called a few days later and the CFO said to give there # to my references and that they could call as well. Made it so much easier and at that time I knew both my references called the day I gave them the #. Might be a quicker way to get the 2nd ref done. Might not do it in your area but its worth a shot. Im in ontario and got my licence about a year ago. And it took about 6 weeks total.

Sorry not sure of the #. I did it a year ago and the lady that does the reference checks gave it to me. I think it was the main # but her office extension # as well.

July 16 - Second reference contacted... Website has also been updated!
