Today was reloading day, 100 rounds of 44 mag 270 Speer with 21.5 gr of Littl'Gun at getting ready for my Ruger number one medium, this is a proven load running at 1700 fps and basicly is very accurate... I love shooting the 44 mag... JP.

Love to hear your load; I'm using 20 grains of Lil'Gun, 240ish-grain Lyman GCSWC's. I say that it's a 629-1 and they had problems with maximum loadings; but in reality I'm just a wuss, and this load is plenty hot enough for me. Besides, how much power factor do you need to kill a piece of paper?

My day-to-day load with the 629 is the same bullet (only 44 mould I have) with 3.5gr VV N310 for 550 - 575 fps from a 6" barrel; same powder load is my go-to for .45 ACP.
