hey guys..

My OP rod seems a little sticky and hard to pull back about when the bolt is approximately one inch from the chamber, and gets a bit stickier after that.

Whats a good cheap way to make this thing a little more smoother?

Disassemble and use wheel bearing grease on the bolt and op-rod

It's the bolt riding over the hammer, it's normal, it's much stiffer when the hammer is down. #### it, put the safety on and try it again, it should be a bit smoother.

i would believe that after a few times at the range the action should smooth out a little.i notice a difference between my two rifles.one has approx 300+ rounds through it now while the second which just recently came in only has less than 50.there is a noticeable difference between the two in terms of how smooth they are to ####.

I've also installed a stainless op rod spring guide in the older rifle and believe this also helps.[rooster 33 or marstar has them]it stops the spring from kinking as it is guided into the op rod.

keep the bolt guides lubricated.

Yes, it is much smoother.

Anything I can do to make it as smooth as it is cocked?

A bit of grease on the hammer hooks helps a bit. One you shoot it a bit the parkerising will wear on contact points and smooth up a bit. Try cocking/cycling realy fast, like if the gun was cycling shooting, it's not as rough as when trying to cycle slowly.
