My Princess Auto find.

I picked these up today. Their game shears that seperate into a skinning knife. The knife has a partial seration, thumb grip and a guthook. They come apart by opening them all the way and considering how cheap they were, feel really good and have a very sharp edge. The price? A whopping $2.44. I'm going to pick up a bunch more. Even if they are crappy and break, (Which Princess will exchange anyways) I'll have more kicking around. These are going to be great for chopping up birds and such.

Just got back from the Panet one in Winnipeg and they have a lot still. They seem decent enough.

I was boning out a front shank, and went to cut through some heavier sinew. Snap went the rivet holding the two halves together. oh well, now I have two odd handled knives.

Between Peachland and Summerland, they are widening the highway with blasting. Somebody noted a meter wide fissure from the road after a bunch of blasting was done. They said if the rock came down onto the highway, it was the equivalent of a few thousand dump truck loads of solid rock.

The photo was taken by a chopper at quite a distance.

Gorgeous stretch of road right there. A few years back I was planning on heading that way, and Westbank was looking like a good place to call home. Of all the places I've visited, that area is still my favorite.
