It's a Savage Model 116 in 300win with the accutrigger. I re barreled it with a 1.125 inch thick stainless steal barrel, and a Holland style flash suppressor. Also got a custom laminate stock. The optics Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x40mm EFR.,

P.S The bipod is in the mail :).

That would be Mysticplayer's build featured on 6mmbr.com

This is my F class rifle project. The cartridge is a 6.5 Mystic which is my version of the 260AI. If you go to 6mmBR.com and look up gun of the week #75, you will get all the details on the rifle and cartridge.

Has been working very well for me over the last two years. I put the wildcat together some 5-6yrs ago.

The stock is of my design and built my me. Material is just scraps of construction plywood I had. This is a wonderful material to use for the DIY'ers.

The goal was to see how well an off the shelf Savage/Stevens action would shoot if given the right set up. The results have exceeded my expectations causing a second platform to be built. This has also shot very well confirming that this design can be repeated.

A combination of the what I feel are good ideas from many other disciplines put together to optimize F class rules. The end result shoots ALOT better then I can drive.

Credit definitely has to go to the excellent Gaillard barrels, Lapua bullets and great install by Guntech. Without these, the rest would not have mattered as much.
