It is a non restricted rifle. It can be used in any location and any fashion a non restricted may legally be used.

Yah the sights are decent. I bought the gun used and the previous guy ground down the rear sights so it fits nicely in the holster. It also has no elevation adjustment. It has the adjustment elevation ramp (proper name?) taken out and it sits tight to the barrel. I imagine ot used to shoot high like alot of them but I havnt had that problem.
