My Range wants to hold short range F-Class matches. What do we need?

What's the mini distance in Meters or Yards? What else do we need to hold official events? Which associations do we need to belong to?

Thanks,
Trevor

300m is the shortest distance I've shot.

What makes F-class different is the pop up targets. You need an approved backstop so target pullers can be behind to pull down and score the targets.

If it's a "fun shoot" you may not need sanctioning.

Here we shoot 300M, 500M, 600M and 800M in a varying mix.
Some places do just 3-5-600yard, I hear some just do 800-900-1000yard.
Quite a few ranges now use electronic targets, some are in NB, PEI. There's no up and down at the other end anymore with those and saves a lot of $ by not having to build butts on new ranges, just a backstop and target frames.
Speeds things up a lot too. I hope we'll have that in NS next year.

I don't know if there's a minimum distance for Fullbore F-class, I don't see why there would be although at 100m it wouldn't be much of a match for wind reading and such.
You can do .22lr smallbore indoor F-class at 20yard/meters. .22lr would be real fun for 100M and 200M, maybe even 300M.
