Thanks Mr. Spectacular. I know everyone likes the whole NV compatible trend even with NV being so prohibitively expensive. I tried it with on the lowest setting and it works just fine. Doesn't make the NV flare up at all. And it saved me a whole bunch of money!!
 
How well does it handle for you? I am a Magpul gear head as well. Just picked up a Magpul midlength MOE hand guard for my RRA 6.8SPC AR15 with a couple of rails. I haven't completed it yet though. Still have to pick up a YHM riser to get a front sight on it and looking at some optics. I like that grip/bipod. What brand? I've heard that the Norincos work well. Any groups you can post?
 
I have that break on there from Dlask. It handles great because of it, little muzzle jump, but is it ever LOUD!!! You can't feel it right behind the gun but everyone else knows you are shooting. It is about the same as being beside a 30-06. The grip is called "Grip Pod" and I got it from ebay. My Norinco works great but I dont have any groups to post, next time I'm at the range I will. Thanks for looking.

The rifle looks good, I'm just saying the comp is a rip off. Oddly, some here find such patent infringements a no no, but in other instances its ok. Is the fact its a Norc or the fact the comp is made by Dlask what validates the rip off?

Im glad to hear that the Norinco CQ 5.56 variants are decent rifles.

I admint I wasnt a fan of them at first - but they have a place in the market.
For the price of the rifle you can still afford ammo .. and magpul crap ;)

as far as the Dlask break ... how poignant .. a knock-off on a knock off ;)

Great build. I've never met an AR that I didn't like.

One question; did you use that optic in the service? The only time I've ever seen a last name scratched into gear is when it was used overseas.
 
Ya I used it at work. Most of that gun is what I would like to see at work, minus a few budget items. I loved that optic but realized the limitations of a holosight and that is why I have the Vortex 3X magnifier. For the others that are wondering I have since turned my break the right side up.
