Decided to clean up my Russians SKS, in order you got on top my Tula 54, Izzy 53, Izzy 54, those 3 are light refurbs all 3 have a bore like new, white bolt and no forced match if you exept the stock that have been ###X out, all 3 shoot like a dream, the Russian SKS are the nicest of all the SKS, craftmanship is among the best... JP.

Those are "okay" . They could use a few upgrades. I'd include a plastic stock, flashlight on a picatinny- and why not really personalize 'em with your SIN # engraved into the receiver?

Seriously, them's nice. Which Russian factory shoots the best?

They all shoot the same, if i had to pick one for accuracy, it would be my Yugo 59-66... JP.

I did, think I caught it on something before the pic... All these are great shooters. The SVT is my fave. Near perfect wood, bore and bluing are 100%. SKS is also very nice. Got the SKS/SVT from Weimajack, he always has gorgeous stock. Mosin came from SFRC, got lucky and received one with a near perfect, shiny bore! Pleased with all.

I'm getting a FSN VZ58 15.5" from Marstar to add to the Russian/Czech collection. P.S: I'd never tac' out a surplus rifle

I'm really liking the OP's middle sks with the blonde/light brown wood. I haven't seen too many Russians with lighter wood, unless these have been refinished?
