We carry a S&W Model 27 Revolver at work, as I was putting my revolver away into the gun locker ( unloaded of course ) cylinder open, it slipped out my hand and dropped 4 feet onto the concrete floor...I looked down and to my amazement was laying in 3 pieces, the frame, cylinder, and crane were all laying about 2 feet away from each other! I am shocked and believe this should not of happened! The firearms instructor stated that this is very possible at a 4 foot drop??? I am not buying this, I am arguing this is faulty, and not properly maintained, What do you guys think???? Is this possible at a drop of 4 feet???
