Let me first say that within my 3 shot group they were all off to the right a touch. Before I adjusted the scope turrets I took another shot paying very close attention to hold the cross hairs on the center vertically thus there is a 4th shot in the mix. After the 4th shot was fired I decided that the scope was set fine. Again I shot off a table with a caldwell gun rest and the shells are accubonds. If I didn't see it myself I might not beleive it either! I can assure you Savage rifles are shootin MOFO's PERIOD!

I have a model 99 in .300 savage that was made in 1954 that shoots 3/4", with federal classics in either 150 or 180 grain.

It was at 100 yards ! Actually last year when I sighted it in with the power points. My friend said "I bet if we had that gun in a vise it would shoot through the same hole". He was right! I have been shooting guns (just for fun) and hunting since 1985. IMO Savage is the most accurate gun bar none!

But who am I!!!!

PS I still love those Tikkas....when I say Tikka I mean Sako as well!

Nice job George!

Did you handload those Accubonds? I have met and talked to others who are also impressed with Savage rifles and the 270WSM.

Now you just need to find something this fall to knock over with it.

Winchester AccuBonds.... I could of knocked over a red fox this eve. but the thing was so cute just running around in the field. saw it catch a mouse while it was eating it was in the crosshairs. Hell never know it could of been his last meal!
