Gotta shoot a RFB - did 60 rounds through it so here is my quick impression.
The trigger is great, but I am an AR guy so I am used to military trigger. My good trigger could be a mediocre trigger for some of you.
Did some double and triple taps at 10 yards. It was fun and pretty soft shooting...but I still think the Colt 13.5" SP901 smokes the RFB in shootability.
Easily put rounds into the circle of the IDPA targets at 25 yards in controlled pairs.
The reciprocating charging handling is annoying - induced a few jams becasue I stuck my thumb up at prone, especially becasue the charging handle is right above the handguard.
Shot an inch group of 3 at 50 with S&B, but the group was super big (like 6")at 100m after the rifle was shot and heat up a bit.
The system seems to be sensitive to the quality of the magazines - break-in the magazines big time and clean out any preservative oil are important. I have one or two mysterious stoppage which are due to fiction within the magazine.
All in all, I think it is a nice little package, but I do not think it will have the reliability like a Colt SP901 running P-mags. However, the compactness and the forward ejecting makes it a perfect carbine for a gun monkey sitting at the back of a big black suburban.
Just make sure you do not stick the thumb up with your weak hand.
Finally, the zytel body is slippery.
