Please stop callin them roll pins. You do not want to be using roll pins to secure your gasblock.

You want taper pins, or just pins. Mainly, you want solid pins.

Roll pins are the ones that are essentially a piece of flat metal that has been rolled, hence the name. As they are not solid, they are not strong enough.

Oh man, that really should be a solid pin, then welded. My gas block pins are roll pins with a small nail beaten down the center of it, it make them tight, sometime I even add some set screws drilled into the gas block and barrel, and don't worry if the screw go into the barrel the first round will trim that right off. (disclaimer: folks do not do what I just wrote)

Well ####, I thought we were talking about the gas block. Roll pins are just fine for the gastube.
