Very nice and I like the dragunov stock!

Do you mind if I ask you where did you find that stock?

I was told those receiver mount is not surplus ammo friendly because if you use corrosive ammo they might not get back to zero after you remove them when cleaning.

Good luck.....
my SKS was set up exactly like that...Dragunov stock, bi-pod, and I started out with a reciever mounted scope...wouldn't shoot worth s*** went with a "Kalinka" frame mounted scope mount...still wouldn't shoot. Sold all the extras and put the action back inthe original wood...worked way better.

Maybe it was something I did wrong...but it shot way better inthe wood.

Stock is from SKSMAN, very nice guy, and everything else is from local gun shows , etc...

I like it this way, and its shoots good, went to Sharon Gun club few times and Its good.

well, it just is a SKS. I like it this way, but I do not want to spend more money on it. BY the way, the receiver mount does not work well caz it won't get back to zero after cleaning

why won't it re zero? when you put the cover back on it should be the same. can only go on one way

The parts are not machined with enough precision and / or quality of material to ensure it goes back on exactly in the same spot, to the thousandth of an inch. I think one of the stickies in this section sends you to a good review of all the scope mounts on surplusrifle.com
