My SLR build from TNA!!

Ugly as sin

Mama always said "if you have nothing nice to say then don't say nothing!"

That being said , if we're asking honest opinions.... yeah, that is ugly af.

I don't know what kills it worse, the stainless (looking?) dimpled barrel, or the red skeleton pistol grip?

Different stroked for different folks.... Not at all to put down the OP, Im sure the gun shoots excellent.... Just the color scheme and the dimples on the barrel look awful IMO.

^^^ I agree the stainless doesn't go well with it. That being said I handled an SLR with the same barrel cerakoted back and the barrel did look really nice. Even with the dimples.

You should put a red Odin works Zulu stock or a red buffer tube at least. If also put a red safety and mag catch. I'm a fan of two tone guns but not sure about this one but if your gonna do it go all out

for anybody who wants something similar here's a cost breakdown (before taxes). the blanks are the parts Brad shipped to us

maccabee receiver $999
18.5" dimpled S&J barrel 223 wylde ___
geissele trigger SSA-E ___
vortex strike eagle 1-6X scope ___
scope mount __
all other parts roughly $889
assembly, test fire $199

I personally love the colours. took it to the range to test fire and I heard the RO say holy sh** under his breath when I whipped it out. (He was even more impressed when he saw the gun, hiyoooo!)

Add a red safety for sure! It may or may not look even sharper with the barrel in black instead of stainless although it is very flashy with the stainless and red together

I think it's pretty funky! In a good way, Im basically getting ready to do a very similar thing to my Remington 700 with some flashy anodized parts where there can be. Great job!
