Unlike others on here, I've decided to go pretty much all "black rifle" on my Czech guns. Not that I don't like the look of the wood furniture - I do! - I just think they look really good in black :D Enjoy!

Top:
  • Cz858 unrestricted, finished - set up just the way i wanted it :)
Middle:
  • CSA restricted Vz58, still waiting for a Galil stock for it (same as the one on the 858 above)
Bottom:
  • Restricted Vz58, finished - wanted it to be nice and lightweight
Right side:
  • CSA Compact restricted Vz58, still waiting for a scope mount to attach to the side rail for the TRS25, and need to properly mount the AK stock to the Vz folding apparatus. For info on how the VFG mounts on the bayo lug: Vz compact VFG rail thread

Sweet rifles. Need one in 223 now

I was actually thinking about selling or trading the bottom one for one in .223 - I hardly shoot it anymore, since I got the 11.5 and 7.5" ones.

How did you finish the stock on this one? Are the handguards stock or aftermarket?

The lower handguard and buttstock are factory Vz resin/wood furniture. Sanded the buttstock and the bottom handguard down, and painted them with a flat-black rust paint that I have used previously on guns. It seems to resist heat and chemicals well... black Armacoat would probably hold up better, though. The upper handguard is Vz black polymer.

You should stir the proverbial pot a bit and post this over in the Black Rifle section.

lol yeah, I should!! :D

.

That has to be my favorite collection of CZ/VZ rifles I've seen so far. Very nice! Does the Krinkov fit on the NR CZ as well?

I know this is the Red Rifle section but when you say Czech family you should have some little cousins lke the CZ75's in there!
