looks like a lot of parts I could use......

oh and a No3 bolthead....

I just pulled a No4 out of the pile that I bought a few months back, it had a No3 bolt head on so I thought I would check the headspace.... well surprise it would not close on the feild gauge so I tried a No2 wow it almost closed on the feild gauge. A No1 closed just fine on the feild and will not close on the no go gauge.

some idiot that does not understand headspace must have decided to listen to someone giving stupid and bad advice and bought a No3 bolt head because "enfield have bad headspace" where have I heard that before......

well good thing is I now have 2 of the almost imposible to find No3 bolt heads. Unfortuantely I'm now out of spare No1 bolt heads.

I also have a spare LB 303 barrel that does not appear to have been installed on a receiver in my spare bin, next to the used .22 LB barrel :)

Hey Guys, thanks for replying, it took awhile for anyone to comment!
Ganderite my father A Sorensen used that buttstock on his DCRA .308 target rifle back in the late '60's in maybe a couple of Palma matches before they switched to manufacturer provided rifles. He's still kicking by the way!
Woodchopper, the wood is for sale on the EE under my name, just search Steve Johnson.
i'd like to check the headspace on this gun but not entirely sure how to do that. an enfield expert i know here in Calgary strips down the bolt ,takes out the firing pin, spring, etc. Thanks in advance
