Yes this is a precision thread question.
I am west of edmonton and this "fellow" for lack of a better word, calls me up letting me know he is scouting out our land for hunting season,
OK so far,
then he proceeds to tell me he is buying a new Ruger # 1 in the new Benchrest caliber,
WTF, where did this go off the rails,
I ask 6PPC, nope 6BR nope 6 dasher or 6 X 47 nope, but he could not remember but said they just brought it out,
so I went to the Ruger site and have determined it probably is a
6 . 5 Creedmore I thought it was a .260 remington which does lapua produce brass for the .260
anyway my question is this
WHAT IS THE MOST ACCURATE CALIBER FOR THAT SILLY RIFLE so I can let him know without him spending a ton of money to have a chance at REAL ACCURACY
I am at a loss, I thought maybe the 6br but not sure if ruger does that in a #1
I know when he cannot hit the target he will just cry, and I will try not to laugh
