A .310 cadet martini
these area fantastic guns, they shoot well, encourage kids to make every shot count and are fun to shoot. The recoil is not much more than a .22
I got lots of kids interested in shooting running this little rifle.
22 lee enfield or the like is good they are heavy frigging things a savage target rifle single shoot will make him work at his shooting and take his time it also has target sites which will huild his confidence by thinking he has good better gear get him a bi pod to start with the basics but make him put 50 rounds holding it free hand and to build his mussels up a set of 1/2 to 1 lbs dumbells and a set for you to work out with him will let him build his mussels as well and give you time togeather and teach him to have a possitive out look on exercise by starting him early
PS I jelous of your son my dad just bough me my first .22 this year i had to by my .223 he's really lucky to have a father that shots
Well I got him another. A Henry .22 mini bolt. Thanks Randy! He just got his tonsils and adnoids out yesterday. So I think it will be a good get well present. Seeing how he loves guns it should cheer him up. Now I have to decide on Christmas. LOL! Maybe a 6.5x55, or a nice .356 win lever would be nice. Oh god this kid is going to cost me a fortune. Oh well. I would rather buy him guns than the wife flowers. LOL! between him and his sister. She wants to join the archery club. So I'm gonna need an 11th mortgage. Oh well they like it so thats all I care!
