"Hey son! You want to clean dady's guns and I'll take you out for ice cream?"

Hey guys (gals) !!!!!

I'm looking for one of these T/Cs for my 5 yrs old son.......any address you can give me to get one? Thanks!!!

Oh and btw, Camp Cook......I owe you a beer my friend......your pics just gave me the good arguments to convince the wife ;)

Great pics! Your sons looks like a natural shooter! Love the last action shot.
...and get him to wear a pair of glasses!

My guys Contender is the real deal = switch barrel to find one is very tough to do, only source is used there are some new G2 frames around but they are just as tough to find.

T/C has come out with a new rifle called Hot Shot it basically looks the same as ours but is a bit lighter and is not a switch barrel design I remember seeing a link from one of the on site dealers that stocks them.

Here is the link to the rifle on the T/C site...

One option I have been thinking about trying is to go thru Clay @ Prophet River he maybe able to bring in the original Contenders frames/barrels/complete rifles for us.

I set up this little 22LR with a T/C Custom Shop 16.5" barrel bought the barrel and had it shipped direct from the States when we still could and a fellow on Greybeard Outdoors chat forum donated the wood stock to us to cut down to fit, the OAL of the rifle set up like this is 26 3/8"...

I have now found a 21" s/s 410 barrel for him that he also loves to shoot and his next step up in power will be to my 18" 10mm barrel or a 21" s/s 223 barrel actually we have 10 barrels and 3 frames now so he can grow with this rifle to go after whatever game he wants to in Canada as he gets older/bigger...

Very good point...

He had started shooting with his sunglasses on and I hadn't noticed while we were shooting that he had taken them off on me.

Great pics of you and your son out shooting.
That's a sweet little .22 he's got.
Good thing he showed you the proper shooting stance too! :)
