My son takes his first gopher!

Just want to say I'm so proud of my son's shooting! He's 7 years old and had a clean shot at the first gopher of the day from about 25 yards. Offhand shot with dad helping to hold the 69a steady and, to be honest, I didn't think there was a hope in hell he'd hit it. But, thwack! Twitch twitch it was over. I took the time to tell him how proud I was of him and his shooting. My only regret was that I didn't get a picture of him and his trophy together.

Two daughters here and the oldest one is three so I will have to wait a bit for this level of proudness!

He doesn't know it yet but there is a little Cooey single shot in the safe for him to share with my daughter.
