Picked up my new TRG 42 .338 Lapua from the post office today! Many thanks to Clay at Prophet River.

I will eventually get a 34mm Sako 3-ring mount and front sight so that it matches it's .308 sibling ;) Hope to get out this weekend if the weather holds.

A few pics;

Thanks for the compliments.

After seeing another price increase on the TRG's in Canada I had Clay at Prophet River import this out of the States for me.

The gun, bipod, brake, importation cost, and shipping came up to less than the gun alone if I had bought it localy. Without the scope I'm into it for around $3800

As for the table, I'll see if I can fit one more on it when I get home and post a pic. ;)

Thought I'd put the table to the test and get a family photo.

I heard some creaking sounds when the Steyr was placed on it :p

Melissa is the real brains of the operation. :)
BTW, we only do the import, not the purchase with Sakos as we need to stay in Stoegers graces.
Looks great!! Hope it shoots as well as it looks.

$3800.00 ??!! Is it new or 2nd hand???? OH and AWESOME collection !!!

Those are beautiful. not even custom, Very smart.

I have seen first hand the depreciation custom rifles take when you try to sell them... my PGW .338 Lapua for example :(:confused:

I picked up my M24 clone for a fraction of what it took to build. It even came with RPA Trakker sights!
I'm going to eventually get the proper mounts and fixed 10X for it.
