Yes, I know I am late for the spring hunt and early for the fall hunt (in the US) but I am starting my new project - a Turkey Gun.
It is a Winchester 1300 Black Shadow c/w 22" VR Barrel, HR Straut Turkey choke, Uncle Mikes QD Swivels, and TruGlo Magnum Gobble Dot fiber sights. I am going to polish the barrel, and take it out to see how it patterns. I also kept the 28" VR barrel for waterfoul/upland hunting. By the way I had a hell of a time finding a barrel for this gun!
I could not part with $500+ for a turkey gun so I decided to add a barrel, sights and get some work done to her - pimping out an existing gun is earier to get away with in my house than buying another one - sad but true
