After looking for years, for mint RS model in .270, and finding it.... a 30-06 fell in my lap. Just in Walnut Blued Instead of synthetic stainless. So I guess they are almost twins

Anyways.. loaded up some Hornady GMX loads and this is what i found out at the range today at 100 meters. Must be a keeper. The red diamond is 1 inch across.

Really like the look of those iron sighted Rugers. With the all-weather and the wood, the .270 and the .30-06 it seems you have the gamut covered well with two. Nice shooting!
