Ok, so....
I bought a 10/22 "deluxe sporter model, was less than "deluxe" to me....
50 yards = 2 inch spread. But, i already knew what you could do with the 10/22 so i didnt stress it as i wanted to build it up anyway. After about 8 months and many different configurations this is what it has become....

And just so u know these were taken on my iphone so not a WHOLE bunch of quality here

I'll start by saying that i ordered the stock and barrel from DLASK, and i love both of them.... GREAT experience dealing weth Dlask for the first time. The barrel is 16.5" with 1/2 x 28 threads in a .920 contour. The quality looks to be right on par with all the great stuff i've heard about this company's products. The hogue overmold stock fits like a glove... a little tight on my reciever but i believe that to be a good thing :) however ALOT more "rubbery" than i imagined. i can see dirt and such sticking to the stock very easily, but im sure it wont be hard to clean. now all i need is another bipod for this guy.

i CANNOT wait to test this baby out tomorrow (hopefully). I'm sure i'll get great accuracy with it!

Let me know what you guys think... and i may aswell throw up a few more pics just for the heck of it ;)

Looks great and I hope it shoots as good as it looks. I'd like to put the same stock on my 10/22 but in OD green. Haven't decided which barrel to go with yet. :)

Hey thanks. I was debating different colors but decided all black looks better IMO.
The barrel really Shoots straight and consistent, I'll be some pics up later this afternoon.

Ok so I made it out to the range yesterday, took the savage .17 Hmr out too for its second outing.

What a great time it was. When i first started sighting in the "new" 10/22 it was cycling great. for about 10 magazines i was in heaven, as its never cycled 100 %, usually 1 round per mag would either fail to feed or eject.
After the first 100 or so rounds its like every other shot was either failing to feed or eject again. just when i was starting to get frustrated i remembered my gun scrubber and boresnake for my .17 where in my "tackle box", gave a few squirts down the barrel ran the bore snake through (it was a little loose) a couple times. and it cycled about another 200 rounds flawlessly.
I only had federal ammunition to try out as i usually have good luck with it, it was ok for accuracy, but i feel i could get a little better. The fact that i havent shot all winter showed me that i need some more practice sessions before getting the gophers this summer.

Here are a few pics of the groups i was getting at 60 yards, i was shooting a little faster and not REALLY taking my time, more or less just getting a feel for the rifle again. But as you see from the first pic i also forgot my sandbags, so i was using a bulk ammo box as a rest. lol

And this one is a group that was shot by my friends 13 year old son at 100 yards (WITH my rifle) after we figured out where to hold the mil dots. the 3 shots inside the diamond are a legitimate group from this young guy! i was blown away!

ALL IN ALL... Definitely recommend DLASK barrels, and the hogue stock fits beautifully and is super comfortable for me!

I agree I first bought the scope on the 10/22 used, was so happy with it I bought the same in 6-24x42 for the savage for $115 that came with free bags.

Though they aren't the greatest but as there were a few factors that contributed in less than ideal groupings. I know the barrel is more accurate than it looks.
