Hello all

Yes i joined alot of you guys on the 10/22 nordic AR-22 bandwagon :)

I just received my kit today :dancingbanana:

it feel like X-mas, i also got a full buttstock, i have a 16.5 in barell coming from Fab

Next i will need to make a barelle sleeve so i can use a front sight and a regular ar-15 handguard, as im not a big fan of the free float look.

I know some of you will say that i need pictures...and i want to assure you my friends and fellow gunnutz that pictures will be posted as soon as i received everything i need :)

So more to come soon :)

Ok a little update :)

So i received my barrel today from Fab
it's a 16.5 inches treaded for aa flash hidder
Other than that its pretty basic

As you can see on the picture the delta ring dont go all the way to the receiver, as right now it's only my prototype and as im waiting for my real delta ring from brownell, i used for picture purpose only an airsoft delta ring.
for the front sight im not sure if i will make a shim or if i will simply use set screw.
I also have a flash hidder coming from tacshot.

maybe i wil order a M-4 stock, but i like the full stock.

Anyway its time for th picture now :)

Comments and suggestion are more than welcome

Ordered mine from Hawktech... still waiting on confirmation. :(

I gotta tell ya dude, I thought that was an AR15 until I looked at the action. That's pretty damn good!

A shorter barrel would look nicer, in my opinion, but that's still very cool.

ok here is an update on my ar-22 build

as i said before im not a fan of the free float look, so i manage myself to build a ''classic'' ar-15/m-16

for the first one im thinking about getting a collapsible stock

and now my new project, its a m-16a1. the barrel is a bit short but i still like the look. I will try to fin a 3 prong flash hidder.
