This is one did not get away, it's her first in three years. It was only 10 minutes into the evening hunt when this fellow came out. The only dissappointment was he broke a antler some time this fall. This is her third deer with her 30-06, can't get her to use any other rifle.

Nice, very nice! I wish my wife would come out with me. I can barely get her to take the photo of one I bring home.

She likes to eat them though!

That freezer is full now, I guess her family will be eating good as well. Moose,Deer and Bear in our freezer it has been a great year here. I got my deer the third day of the season and a bear with the bow in September. Going to start hunting waterfoul now and some small game.

Congrats on a nice buck, can't talk my wife into actually hunting, she does help cut and wrap and cooks it well though.

Great work, my congrats! How many lbs. of meat did you harvest in total?

I have about 300lbs in the freezer, total harvist would be over 400 lbs. It sure is going to be great eating all winter. I have given away over a hundred lbs to friends and family. When we got the moose we split it three ways and still had about 200lbs a piece. I love bear meat and I'm holding on to all of it.
