My Winnie M70 .223 is back from my (guardian angel & SECRET) gunsmith!

I just mounted it up in the factory M70 synthetic (likely made by Six Enterprises, because it sure feels like my Remmy M700 SPS plastic stock). The I screwed on a Harris BR height (6" to 9") swivel bipod and my Super SlingII from the Outdoor Connection. Now I have to get it sighted in on Thursday and go pop some  earthpigs on the Niagara Escrapement. LOL

Have a look at this picture:

And YES, that is an old Eagle Stock Pack (about 10 years old) and many national level sniper matches with that baby!

The barrel was an M700 Remmy .223 ADL barrel bought from a CGNutter from Alberta. It was cut to 18.5" and then crowned and threaded for an AR15 flash hider. I had a spare A1 flash hider (no indexing needed since bird cage openings are 360 degrees) and crush washer. My gunsmith did such a great job that the flash hider just screwed on ever so perfectly.

The scope is a Reupold (FAKE Leupold from Zhina) that I bought for $ 100 here on the EE Forum. I like the side focus for earth pigs that pop up only 35 steps away. Easy to focus. Hey, for the $ 100; who gives a zhit? No recoil on the .223 boomstick and this optic does the job. Now it looks tactikool and works well since I've knocked off over 100 earth pigs with it! Not a single loss of zero or any doubts  ever! Life is good!

Range report once I get this baby zeroed this coming weekend. :D

Peace be to journey!

Good looking boom-stick Hungry! It's a "bubba" that flies under the radar... Except for the flash hider that is! Which is a must have accessory if your to keep your location hidden from the earth pigs! he he he

Cheers
Jay
P.S. Did you catch bubba-itis from the clinics? HA HA HA

About that flash hider, one never knows when a need for some 1/2" x 28 tpi threads ;) might arise! yuk yuk yuk

I just could not resist having the threads out in front! heeeere kitty kitty kitty!

Nice blaster!
Another use for those threads would be a muzzle brake. Not much recoil as it is I'm sure, but something like this would take it down to almost nothing.

It even has a vestigial flash hider since thats the way you like to roll :)
