Mystery 1911 magazine

Hi,

I'm looking for some help identifying what type of 1911 this magazine is for. It's vintage, blued, with pinned base and the letter "C" in white paint and serial number "30965" stamp into it.

Looks like an Argentine Modelo 1927 magazine to me.

Looks to be 45 ACP (doesn't have the narrowing ribs of a 9mm 1911 magazine) and could be "for" any 1911 it fits, but I'd hazard a guess that a serial number may mean it was issued with a pistol of matching serial number.

I have a few of these (yup, poor condition). When I got them from Century International Arms I was told they were old Argentine Model 1927 magazine. Surplus stuff
